Your new board has been pre-conditioned to enhance the wood's natural grainand increase its natural resistance to moisture. Each board is handmade fromAcacia wood so variations will be apparent between products. Wipe clean orlightly hand wash with lukewarm, soapy water before and after each use, and drythoroughly without delay before storing.  Do not soak and avoid storing indamp or humid conditions.  Never put board in microwave or dishwasher. Avoidplacing hot items directly on the wood as it may scald or crack.  Regularlyre-condition with a food-safe mineral or grapeseed oil to help prolong the lifeof your board.
